Field Maintenance Engineer(TX)

Location: Saudi Arabia
Reporting to: NOC Manager
Job Description:
1. Schedule first line preventative maintenance activities.
Checks, abnormality corrections, adjustments, tests, measurements, internal and external cleaning, surveys, as well as the analysis and replacement/repair of units, boards, components, modules.
TX department has a FME TX Preventive Routine Maintenance Check List.doc for maintenance activities.
2. On-site corrective maintenance.
Check meachine room environment status.Jump patch cord for NMS instruction. Fix or adjust significant equipment defects and failures, including the required replacement of units, boards, components.
3. Implementation of performance analysis recommendation.
Analyze the network performance and decide the actions to be taken in order to run the network in its optimal conditions.
4. On-site system configuration rearrangement.
Perform the system configuration rearrangements on-site under the guidance of Front Office.Perform testing job for network performance on-site under the guidance of Front Office.
5.Spare parts management.
FLM-FO staff clear up spare parts every month.

Professional Related Working Experience:
1. Bachelors or masters in telecommunication.
2. Well versed with Optical Transmission & DataCom network architecture & protocols.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in fault management, performance & capacity monitoring, and configuration management. 4. System upgrades, expansions & health checks of the network.
5. Experience in Huawei circuit switching equipments SDH series Metro 5000 / Metro 3000, NG-SDH series Optix 9500 / Optix 7500 / Optix 3500 , NG-WDM series BWS 320G / BWS 1600G , OTN series OTN 6800 / OTN 3800 is a must.
6. Familiar with O&M and technical support work flow.
7. Staff leadership & good communication skills.
