Job Opportunity – Principal Engineer of Broadband Core Network– Malaysia

We are a Singapore Headquartered Recruitment Consulting Company. Our client in MALAYSIA is looking to hire a "PRINCIPAL ENGINEER OF BROADBAND CORE NETWORK" for a permanent assignment. The following are the skills required for the position.

Responsibilities

 Responsible for Broadband Core network planning, network solutioning architect, network dimensioning and detailed network design.
 End-to-end broadband core network capacity management which includes network capacity monitoring, network resource & traffics trending and upgrade triggering.
 End-to-end broadband core network and service control platform quality enhancement
 To provide technical feasibility study and assessments to support new product launching.
 The responsibilities include Annual Operating Plan derivation and identify cost savings initiatives.
 Business case formation for investment proposal and presentation in Technology Investment Committee for network expansion or new systems/services acquisition.
 Investment & sourcing strategy and supply chain management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Hon) in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in Broadband/IP Core Network and PS Core Network.
• Industry certification (CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, MSCE).
• Knowledgeable in all service control engineering, service tiering policy and quota management.
• Working knowledge on LAN and WAN technologies covering both enterprise and telco networking environment. Well versed with TCP-IP fundamentals and network routers, switches and firewalls.
• Good knowledge and experience in IP Broadband architecture and design
