Job Opportunity – SENIOR PROCESS LEAD – Telecommunications Industry (QATAR)

We are a Singapore Headquartered Recruitment Consulting Company. Our client in QATAR from the telecommunications industry is looking to hire a " SENIOR PROCESS LEAD " for a permanent assignment. The following are the skills required for the position.

Job Purpose
To lead the development of a business wide process development program focusing on E2E operational effectiveness and the creation of a Process based organisation.

The role of process lead is critical in providing an internal consultative capability to the company’s business. The role requires a wide focus requiring the individual to have a key input into process design for new propositions and products whilst providing a program and framework to allow the business to think, act and deliver in a process based way to ensure we deliver against key strategic principles.

Key accountabilities

Provide key consultation and facilitation into process design for key business initiatives (Product launches, new strategic propositions)
• Ensure the design and deployment of all initiatives are conducted in a process based way
• Be responsible to ensure all downstream impacts are mitigated
• Be accountable to ensure all customer impacts are eliminated
• Ensure E2E thinking remains a key focus
• Develop key relationships in the business in order to remain engaged in all key initiatives

Develop and deliver and capability program to enable critical process awareness
• Develop a robust program for the company leadership team to increase process awareness and capability
• Design a company wide capability program focusing on
o A clear training program focusing on process excellence
o Increasing process knowledge
o Ensuring all parts of the business understand process
o Equipping parts of the business with critical tools to aid in the development of processes
o Providing the tools for the business for continuous improvement work
• The program must always remain focused on customer excellence at all times
Deliver a robust process framework model demonstrating the process organisation and process ownership

• Design and development of a process based operating model
o Clearly demonstrate the organisation through a process framework
o Agree and document key process owners
o Ensure framework aligns with the Purpose based organisation
• Engage with the exec team and leadership team to stress importance of process owners and agreement to actual ownership
• Ensure the operating model is tied into agreed measurement framework for the company
Provide thought leadership to a business wide TQM program
• Become a key stakeholder in deliver Total quality to the company.
• Ensure process is a critical focus within TQM
• Provide key consultation in enabling TQM
Person Specification
• Strong process management background – including process design, management and improvement
• Exceptional organisational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong commercial and risk management acumen
• Experience of leading cross functional teams across the organisation, operating in complex matrix management structures
• Able to operate at Board level, influencing the senior leadership team
• Developing Relationships – ability to be able to shape strong relationships at a senior level and cross functionally
• Competent in 1or more change delivery methodologies (6 Sigma / Prince 2)
• Self Starter
• Strong Communication skills
