My client has been awarded a national project to carry out a wireless network rollout and their Perth office has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to work on this project.
To be successful in this position you will possess the ability to:
Work on / manage large scale mobile telecommunications projects.
Conduct Site Engineering Inspections in various metropolitan and rural locations.
Prepare conceptual through to detailed design drawings for Telecommunications sites.
Liaise directly with multiple client contacts.
Work proactively within a multi-discipline team of professionals.
Provide professional guidance and leadership to less experienced members of the team.
Produce high quality designs for a client that puts a heavy emphasis on “first time right” design principles.
Ensure that deadlines are met on time and on budget.
Communicate ideas and information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Focus on program and performance issues, both internally and externally.
Previous Telecommunications experience (wireless and/or fibre) is preferred (but not essential) and a solid background in civil and/or structural engineering is essential.
This role requires an experienced, competent and motivated individual who is prepared to operate in a busy environment and respond efficiently to our client’s needs. It is expected that applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent technical and analytical skills together with high degree of competency in written and oral communication.
