Site Acquisition Manager - Sydney

Reporting to the National Project Manager, this role is responsible for managing site acquisition, environmental approvals and community consultation related activities of the wireless site deployment and site upgrade process.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Managing a team of professional property consultants and environmental planners.
• Dealing with escalations from team members.
• Managing implementation of stakeholder consultation and notification processes.
• Managing tracking and reporting multiple programs in conjunction with the National Project Manager.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders.
• Providing advice to and liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
• Identifying areas for process and performance improvement.

The successful applicant will be Degree qualified in Property / Real Estate or Environmental or Town Planning or a similar discipline and will have experience managing site acquisition and environmental approvals / stakeholder consultation processes.

Experience working under the Telecommunications Act 1997, The Telecommunications (Low Impact Facilities) Determination and the ACIF / CA Industry Code for the Deployment of Mobile Phone Network Infrastructure is highly desirable but not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

Candidates must be motivated team players, who are disciplined and capable or working with minimal supervision.
